3.5 Channel!!!!!!!!

wondering what .5 channel is!!!!! Bang Head

if it is just 3 channel and from the picture it seems like it is toy heli and not some serious heli!!!

i think price should not be more than Rs 2000/-!!!!!

Heli=Diff parts flying together in close formation
This product looks similar to the Syma 9053 which is also with metal frame and even has a gyro (not sure if this one does)
should not be more than Rs.2200/- .These are all chinese toys so can't give you any reputation description (no one can)

I saw a smaller heli - about 40 cm - 3.5 channel without gyro for 2500 at national market. The seller said 2500, then 2200, then 2000, then 1800 and he said he will reduce the price further when i walked away Smiley
It was a syma s006.

The .5 reffers to sensitivity of the controls - high and low.

As someone else pointed out in another thread (probably Anwar Sahab) the .5 could also be attributed to the fact that you can switch on and off the lights on the model through your Tx. Just a marketing gimmick!

Not much information online.  One interesting thing is that the size is specified as 80cm, which seems big ! Must be the size of the packing box.  Since a gyro is mentioned, there should be some stability.

Anwar sir the box is 90 cm and the heli from nose point to tail rotor is 75 cm,so how is the size??

I opened the box just to click the pics,never flown/plugged the charger.
Can anybody help with price factor? Huh? Help Me

Hey 75cm is a big one Smiley Definately not for indoor flight unless you have a large room and i do mean large. Else its for outdoor only on calm days. Just to make sure you know that its ment for indoor use primarily. Smiley How much did the seller quote? I think VC has something similar.

Yep nice size, should add to the stability. 

In terms of pricing, the wholesale price seems to be between $30 and $40, so I am guessing it will cost around Rs3000 locally ?

Oops, wholesale price is $35 to $50... if we take the higher end, that is Rs2500 + around 25% duty + shipping plus margins...  Rs4500 to Rs5000 is not too far off ?

Mine is a 8004 model at 73 cms. Just got a Volitation (all due to a LOT of effort on the part of Ranjan). But it is not that big. Volitation has a much better Tx than the 8004. Lot more trimmers and stuff.

My cousin bought a similar heli 3.5 ch from India Hobby Centre yesterday. It is a V-max metal heli (Alloy Shark) No.B889, has a 40mhz transmitter and a 3.7v 1000 mah lipo. I flew it yesterday in my house, flew great for a novice like me. My cousin had to pay Rs2500 for it. Will try and upload the pics and video.

Well FXD 3.5 inch, its quite costly .. Sad. I have this FXD 3 inches at much reasonable rate and with good quality and its same heli..I checked with aliexpress earlier, its quite costlier. Later, i got it from Chinabuye, its really worth for our money..and i feel good for its reliablity.
