Its a silly question... Just that i'm not that familiar with helis...

On my sim, when i move my left stick left and right, which way is the heli supposed to yaw?

RC India - Flying and racing with open minds !



If you started with the heli in front of you with the tail closer to you (this is your normal hovering position), and you apply the rudder stick to the left, the head of the heli should move to the left, and the tail of the heli will move to the right (in other words, if you are looking from top, the heli will do a counter clockwise pirouette on applying left rudder).

So the rule to remember is that you are flying the HEAD of the heli with rudder control (as opposed to the tail).
