abhi19nav , the shipping prices are not 5$, it is around 30 - 40 $, and banggood you didnt consider customs. Who is going to wait 20 days, instead pay few more.. Smiley

Hi, I understand your confusion, have been in the situation recently.
If you want to pursue the rc heli hobby, 450 size helis are the way to go. But before you buy one, read through the forum discussions thoroughly ! and learn a few basic things. And then you can begin by buying a toy heli like hercules unbreakable or any other co axial (or V911 - a fixed pitch, single blade, 4ch heli, seems to be a good option to begin with, i have never flown one but read a lot of good reviews about it). and build yourself a 450 heli later. This is what I did, after my GT8008 4 ch, I got my hiller 450 beginner kit a couple of days back. But practice on simulators is a must and you can buy a good transmitter (long term investment) with sim capabilities (Im waiting for one such from RC Bazaar, Bangalore) practice on that and then go for 450 helis.

Regards,
Sridhar.

well generally aeromodellers prefer a different tx for practicing on simulators, there were many cases where people have screwed their tx, even i had an experience as my ct6b is malfunctioning, the channels are reversed and throttle remains high.. thanks

I did not know that Avesh, thanks for the info. Will keep this thing in mind before buying a Tx. But many threads in the forum suggest that Tx with Sim is good for beginners, so I had written like that.

i doubt the sim destroys ur tx .I use my dx6i on sim and helis both no problem at all ,and never heard bout something lik this ,check if earthing in pc is proper or else the reverse current might do damage to tx  Roll Eyes

well thanks shannon , a reverse polarity will definately damaga a tx, but futaba / spectrum have safety mechanism. The same is the case with original imax b6 and clone b6, the original one has a safety mechanism. Motherboard has safety mech to protect the daughter boards and addon accessories and the first one to suffer is SMPS. I screwed my ct6b during simulator play, Smiley . Many experts suggest not to use expensive tx instead buying a cheap one for sim practice. thanks.
