Title: Help me get my syma chinook CH 47 Back in the air.
Post by: prabal276 on May 01, 2016, 10:45:05 AM
Hello;
I recently came up on my old syma heli some time ago.
It had a problem. The motors had burnt out. And i lost the radio.
Is there any solution even if i found out the radio?
What if my radio isnt found? Any cheap alternatives?

Your Chinook have brushed motors? Which Transmitter you are using?

I dont quite know.
They are silver and round and small.
As they have only two wires coming out of them; they must be brushed.
I used to use the stock 2.4 ghz syma tx before it got lost.

Can you post some pics of motors inside Helicopter? Are you sure motors are fried? It is Tandem Heli so replacement of  Tx-Rx is hard to find unless you can find some similar model Transmitter.

I actually have found a replacement and i am quite sure the motor are fried as the blades just used to rotate and the heli didnt lift off.
This same problem was faced by an rc groups member and everything was fine after he replaced both motors.

Ohh , motors are working but not producing lift ? OK then you can check voltage at input terminals of brushed motors for clarification .
