Hi
I am new to RC heli flying. This is  my first mail in this forum.
I bought walkera 5g4q3 4CH RC heli.
It is v good machine with robust structure. I learnt flying indoors with some crashes
against the wall and tables, which resulted in breaking of blades.
I managed to put the pieces together with cello tape.
But now I feel it is not so stable and it is not flying as high as it used to even when I give full throttle.
Is this could be due to broken blades, or battery of Heli has become week or could be some other issues ?

RC India - Flying and racing with open minds !

Welcome to RC and RC India Smiley

Helis need as much symmetry as possible for stability.  If one blade is slightly warped (bent) as compared to the other, the effect of that on stability will many times astonish us.  So any mechanical imbalance will be immediately noticeable.

Batteries that are no longer capable of retaining enough charge will also cause the heli to be unstable.  Unless it has gone really bad, battery problems will not be visible towards the beginning of a flight (after the pack has been freshly charged).

Looks like your flying with a taped blade is the cause of the instability, and it is not recommended to fly like that at all. If the pitch angle of the blade has changed (which is very much expected in your situation), that would explain the loss of climbing ability too.  Have you looked around for replacement blades ?
