Finally got the courage to fly a newly fixed walkera 1#a (my first ccpm heli), have owned this heli as my first hobby grade heli (straight after coax 3ch) for more than 2 months and all i was doing was reading/practicing on sim etc.
Today, i finally took the plunge and said "what the hell
", took it out in my balcony with a space of 10ft * 8ft and powered up this beauty.
What a feeling it was, raising the throttle stick with nearly shaky hands, sound of the blades rotating at high RPMs and that wind it presses down. Man, just can't have enough of this feel.
Then slowly the heli became light on training gear and started to drift, oops, mus have missed couple of heart beats all together
Took a deep breath and pushed the throttle stick past 50% and the heli lifted in air with ease, hovered it for around 5 seconds before the whole feeling became difficult to handle and brought the heli back on the ground. Spent next 30secs with a little smile on face with a very satisfied feeling that my gosh, i finally took it off from the landing gear on my own, and another thought came up ... hover it longer.
Straightened the main blades, tail blades and pushed the throttle stick slowly past 50%, the same feeling of high bp, hands shaking, nearly dropping off the Tx
.... heli was in air, roughly 1.5 ft in air and hovered nicely for about 30 sec when i thought enough mate, i think you can't handle enough excitment for one day
