Hey everyone ,
My dad is in bangalore for a business trip , I had asked him to pick up the mini titan from model art for me .
He should be arriving in hyderabad on Tuesday .
The Motor + ESC + Gyro are included in the kit
For servos i will be using -
HXT 900 X 4
Battery -
ZIPPY Flightmax 3000 mAh 3S1P 20C ( dont know why there is 3S'1'P in it )

Along with that i also am ordering an IMAX B6 charger & a corona dual conversion synthesised receiver .

Is my setup good ?

Happy flying ,
Sahevaan

Great choice, Sahevaan,
If you are lucky, you would get the rudder servo pre-installed ( mine did ! ), i guess it makes it an even sweeter deal.

The battery pack you listed above seems a little big. 2200mAh 3S 20C is recommended.
I suggest you consider getting one of these.

All else is good. 99% is all built, just be careful while opening the box so as to not loose/break anything.
Then you would need to mount your servos and set up the radio and it should be all ready !
I learnt on this and fly this every day.
You will love the mini Titan !

All the li-po's on HK are out of stock , only 3000mAh was available .
Moreover is there any probability of making a home made training gear ?
What will be the radio setup on a Futaba 6EXHP ?

HXT 900 X 4

ZIPPY Flightmax 3000 mAh 3S1P 20C ( dont know why there is 3S'1'P in it )

Is my setup good ?

Another heli... I can see that this is going to be a great day Giggle

You have 4 numbers of HXT900s, so you are using it for tail also ?  That may be a sub-optimal choice.  I am not saying that it will not absolutely work, but you may not like what you see.

The "1P" refers to the fact that all three cells are series connected, and nothing is in parallel. See "Pack configuration" here : http://sites.google.com/site/tjinguytech/charging-how-tos/lipo-terminology

A 3000mAH lipo may be slightly heavy for such a heli, but it would give you longer flying times (some of the advantage may be lost since you have to run at higher rpm to lift the added weight). Don't know enough to say if it will be a problem or not, my guess is that it should not.

Sahevaan,
This is in stock : http://hobbycity.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=8932
I use it and its excellent.
As i said, if you are lucky you will get your rudder servo, even though you ordered the T without servos.

If you read the reviews on HK, you will see mixed responses.  Some say it works, many say it is slow or burns up on tail use.

http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/product_reviews.asp?idproduct=662

So it is worth trying out, and if you are not satisfied, you can always upgrade Smiley

hi guys
this servo is too slow for the tail '0.12 sec'  speed. you realy need digital for tail

'0.8 sec' as the slowest you want on the tail realy or the gyro working realy hard.

Just use the Hxt900 for the cyclic ie 3 servos.
For rudder, i think you will get the servo pre-installed, if not then you will need a fast digital rudder servo

I am not sure you will get a YES or NO answer that you seem to be after Smiley  It worked for some people, and did not for others.  What "worked" means is different to different people.

Like I said earlier, try it (especially since you have one on order), and upgrade if you find it does not work to your satisfaction.
