Title: Modelart L6007 - Spares - Hyderabad
Post by: mr_aditya on April 01, 2013, 10:11:03 AM
Dear Friends,

I am 34, but have wanted to fly RC helis like from when i was a kid. Finally brought my first RC yesterday - the Modelart L6007. 3.5 Ch, twin rotor heli.

This thing is, there were a few crashes on my first tries, and the rotors got some minute dents (only visible on close observation) on the forward. I do have spare rotors, but only one of each (There are one each of A and B).

Now, whenever i increase only my throttle, the heli starts flying forward, instead on hovering. Should it be doing that? If no, then is it because of the minute dents on the rotors?

I would like to know where i can get spare rotors for this one (or equivalent model, i guess they all come from china with different names). I am from hyderabad.

Thank you for the wonderful forum, and for your help.

Regards,
ADITYA

I don't think the dings/dents on your blade have anything to do with your Heli flying forward the moment you switch it on. You have to adjust the Trim Tabs on your Transmitter to correct this.

In the attached pictures, the adjustable Trim Tabs are circled in Red. My guess is the one that has a tick mark on it.

1. Power on the Heli and Transmitter
2. Adjust the Trim Tab to the centre
3. Move the Left hand lever slowly to the top - The blades should rev up and the Heli should take off
4. If need be, repeat the process and adjust the other Trim Tabs
5. Buy some extra blades  :giggle:

All the best!
