Title: Motor Reversed
Post by: Sahevaan on January 30, 2012, 08:10:18 PM
Hi guys ,
Im finally done with my pre-boards so i thought i'd set up my MT .
I connected all the servo's correctly and the set up is working properly but , the motor is reversed when the pitch is right . Anyway to change this ?

Reverse throttle channel, then g to your "swash" settings menu and change "pitch" from +X to -X (or -X to + X).  Swash menu is what you use to control the amount of deflection and direction of all movement when the servos are working together (like aileron, elevator and pitch).

If you clarify what radio you are using, more explicit instructions can be provided.

I think this could have also been sorted just by reversing any two wires on the motor to ESC (bullet connectors)

But good to know info.. :)

I don't think that is the issue mentioned here.  Swapping two wires is for the "direction of rotation of motor".

The issue here, I believe, is that full throttle is at bottom stick position (lowest pitch), and full throttle is is at highest stick position (highest pitch).  This cannot be fixed by swapping wires.

Sahevaan, please confirm which of the above two was the real issue ?

Ohh..Yes then please confirm the issue, The reason I mentioned wire swapping is cause of what I picked up from his post

"the motor is reversed when the pitch is right . Anyway to change this ? "

making me think that the motor is moving in the worng direction when the pitch of the blades and all servos are moving in the correct direction.
