Post by: endlessmoor on August 16, 2009, 08:20:45 PM
dear friends,

im a beginner in this Rc world, i reside at delhi, just some days back, i bought one Rc 3 channel heli its called:

Syma s006 alloy shark

but during its maiden flight it crashed fiercely and after so many attempts it is not flying atall....!!!

upon close examining the body, i found that, the main body part which has the central shaft has been internally broken, also the  top blade joint has been broken too.

i want to know, that, from where i can get it repaired, or is there any reliable site/store from where can i buy, syma s006 body parts?
also i want to know how good is syma s006 models?

plz help me, as it is basically useless, and i;m trying hard to repair it. here in this site there are numerous experienced persons sharing their thoughts, i hope i can find a cure to my problems

thanks in advance

Hard to find Syma parts, never saw any...Does this not come complete in a box with Radio etc ? maybe worth buying a new one....

Or fix it yourself with appropriate methods (epoxy/CA, splint, fiber cloth etc).

Even you find the parts outside India, it may not be worth the price/effort when you include shipping costs.

Your best bet is to take the help of someone experienced in flying helis near you (if there are no heli fliers, then airplane fliers should be able to take a look at it).

Requesting anyone from Delhi flying helis to step up and help our fellow flier !  :)

looking at your pics - forget about sticking it, if your fly bar or shaft is broken then the only remedy is to change it as a unit and my only hope is you meet someone who has a busted piece who'll give you the parts!
These models come set like this from the factory and there is no spare market for these ones. if they fail you move on. But no harm in trying

Looks like a standard RC shop.  Just follow the normal (i.e. common sense) precautions for any online purchase.

Hopefully the price and shipping is worthwhile for a heli at this range !
