These electrics do not need much, except to remove the dust, and AFTER all the dust has been removed, apply a bit of lube to the moving (especially "sliding") parts.

Although it is not related to storage time, it is prudent to check for any loose screws etc after every 3 to 5 flights at least.

Trex 450 DFC

I would suggest check if the swash moves freely on the main shaft and the tail slider moves freely on the tail shaft. After few flights, i usually find the tail slider doesnt move smooth on the tail shaft - i fix this by spraying some WD40 on the shafts

Clean up the exposed brearing also - again WD40

Sure give me a call when you are in Bangalore. On reading up on the trex 250, lot of people seems to have problems with its tail. Reminded me of your gyro/tail issues. Devil or not, it definitely has a devil's tail. Yours might have had the same problem. I hope mine works ok.

What a coincidence! I was just wondering what happened to you. The maiden went well. Tail is holding well in fast backwards and small tail slides. My skills are too rusty to attempt more in the limited space I have. Need to take it to a field and complete beastx tuning. If you are in Bangalore, get in touch.
