Heli=Diff parts flying together in close formation

Hi All,

Please see attached my first attempt to build a paper canopy for my Blade MCPX from a plan. Wanted to know if someone has tried to build one for a 450 size, and if there are any pdf plans availalble for the same, please share.

Thanks
Hellyflyer

when I am sober my heli is drunk..

Really sorry for the "way too late" reply guys,
Work really gets me sometimes.

Yes I do make papercraft scales for heli's, it is a good past time, but for a very fine outcome, the slower the pace in cutting the pieces and numbering them correctly, produces best results.

Building paper craft bodies is not difficult, just need a steady hand while cutting (especially small corners)

What I usually do is :
1. get the desired design.
2. Scale my heli against the drawing and make 2 to 3 prints of the canopy area in black (Fast copy)
3. If the scaled size is OK, then proceed with the printing on a inkjet using a higher gsm paper.
(there is a catch to keep designs shining after printing on inkjets. once your print is out let it dry and the
cover or film it with transparent tape)
4. Cut the parts out carefully and number them
5. Make spacers using bluecore or thermocole. on the heli frame as per the type of heli you building.
6. Fit the parts (here you got to keep in mind to, join the cutouts according to the section you working on)

The rest depends on the one making it!

PLEASE don't  misunderstand but  I do find it more difficult to decipher what you are trying to convey, more than SMS language!

Sushil Sir,

Kalyan is a simple hearted person, motivated by pure passion for this forum. English, incidentally, is not his mother tongue. Kindly allow me to elucidate on his behalf -

"I have seen this kind of construction 'print and assemble' constructions kits being offered by Canon as a paper/card model freebies. However, it is for a complete static model only. These links are generally supplied by Canon once you buy (or do not buy) a Canon printer and are available on the net for free. You just have to Google "Canon paper models" and see what you get.

However, your finishing is great and though the final product may not be rigid like FG or plastic, and may feel soft - the final result is amazing. Good work! Would you be kind enough to post a video to demonstrate how you constructed this model?"

Dorwin - awesome and awe inspiring, as usual ..... how boring - it is like a habit for you by now! Grin Hats Off Bow

Here the are.

Sushil sir, The comma ","  are missing for keyboard problem. My 5 TVS Gold having PS1 port and only one have PS2, and that again(the 6th one) taken by my brother. There is no back space to use with PS1-PS2 converter. So, using a membrane keyboard instead mechanical keyboard. You know, how difficult it is to switch over from Mechanical keyboard to membrane one. And also forgive me for my poor language and SMS type you find. I edit/modify several time before posting. But still this happen, really SORRY.
