Title: Re: RC Helicopter Post by: anwar on January 02, 2010, 11:41:11 AM Are you planning to buy an ARF/RTF ?
Your message is a bit vague. As you probably already know, scratch building a heli (with Hiller mixing etc) is a pretty involved task ! Title: Re: RC Helicopter Post by: me-my-parts on January 02, 2010, 12:42:59 PM You have a complete plan so you must proceed shopping on ebay. I suggest you rcforallin shop to buy all these stuff. you should also contact them. :salute:

Actually i am totally new with RC Chopper...But as i am a Mechanical engineer and holder of 3 years NCC Air wing Certificate i know the basic principal of chopper and also know how RC Chopper works(i mean all component) and the biggest above all thing i want to do some experiment with my chopper like i am planning to use CD ROM brushless motor with some modification. Definitely my basic design is as same as all you have guys. So what you guys suggest me. Title: Re: RC Helicopter Post by: anwar on January 02, 2010, 07:02:49 PM Guess you still need to clarify what you are planning to buy versus what you are planning to build.
Title: Re: RC Helicopter Post by: second_chance on January 02, 2010, 08:39:30 PM maybe you should have a look at the arf or kit options and then rethink
Title: Re: RC Helicopter Post by: FlyJoe on January 02, 2010, 11:00:51 PM i am planning to use CD ROM brushless motor with some modification That's a tiny motor to lift more than 250gms with 20" rotors (490mm). its true that is has 52X but what voltage doest it run on to turn a CD? you mentioned a 300 motor as your power system. what was that for? Like Anwar said, you'll have to clarify what you are thinking of buying. thus we'll know what you are building I dont mean to be discouraging but there is a lot to this than what mets the eye. Title: Re: RC Helicopter Post by: ankur on January 04, 2010, 01:16:33 PM by reading his posts i think he wants to build a scratch build heli with the given specs
good luck for your project. |
