Title: Scale fuselage for Trex 500 Post by: Ajay JM on May 23, 2011, 11:32:54 AM Have been eyeing couple of scale fuselages for the trex 500.
Thinking fiberglass Airwolf or Agusta 109 from Helipross. Anyone bought these from them and got shipped to India? http://www.helipross.com/align-500-scale-fuselage-kz0820112a.html http://www.helipross.com/agusta-a-109-500-scale-fuselage-hf5004.html Is the weight gonna be a problem for lift? Thinking of getting an LED system as well. Gonna check out at Thakarapparambu, TVM before spending $30 on http://www.helipal.com/airy-led-light-system.html ;) Title: Re: Scale fuselage for Trex 500 Post by: sunk? on May 23, 2011, 07:53:53 PM hi mate,
commercial fuses for 500+ size helis should not be a weight prob .....but you may find it attracts more wind resistance side ways some 450 size with stock motors have a prob with the heavier fg fuses and have to upgrade the motor or see shorter flight times both of those look to have the 'metal/wire' retracts the 'plastic ones' have been known to fail on heavy landings regards don Title: Re: Scale fuselage for Trex 500 Post by: Ajay JM on May 23, 2011, 09:57:57 PM Hey Don
Thanks for the tip. Wind resistance is a point worth pondering over..hmm I am okay with lower flight times since the pleasure of seeing the heli dressed up in a nice scale fuse eclipses that ;) And yes, they both come with metal retracts Title: Re: Scale fuselage for Trex 500 Post by: anwar on May 24, 2011, 09:58:31 AM Looks like another canopy from Align.
