I had visited Delhi in june and bought myself helis(2) both of 3 channel.
the good part is that they costed me less than 3k.BTW i got a palm size from the market for only Rs.700! Drool  and a syma 9053 volitation 26" heli with a 7.4 volt 1300mah lion batt. only for  Rs.2250! Drool Drool (:|~this heli is listed on the major rc reseller U.S sites

I thank my uncle to take me there. The funny part is that the next day i went to pacific mall in kaushambi,Ghaziabad where i was buying clothes and saw the volitation there!
"their" tagged price was Rs.4750. Bang Head Bang Head Bang Head

btw for the kind information the market is called lala Lajpat Rai market opposite to the red fort.

I suggest people to have a look to the stuff available over there as it is in a very good deal and lots of syma stuff is available!

I bet it would be brutal when markets like Lajpat Rai, Nehru Place etc jump into R/C arena - people would forget Hobby King for good. Do post the pics of the heli and recall what other R/c stuff you saw there ?

I guess it is sort of understood that these helis are not really meant for repair via parts replacement.  You fly it, and if they crash, you try local fixes (superglue types), and try substituting parts.  Looks like the best you get in terms of parts for these are the blades.

true but thanx vineet that you replied me about lipo's
many lipos are available for very very low prices
I paid Rs.90 for a 600mah lipo only!! Drool Drool Drool

therefore if you want to make a 1200mAh 11.1v lipo you spend Rs. 90x6=Rs 540 only!
2 batteries in parallel connection(1 pack) x 3 packs of the same
maybe this surely is Drool Drool Drool Drool Drool

It depends on what brand and model you are getting.  Then comes shipping charges, which is not a good thing on helis that cost a little more than 1K.

I would tend to agree with Prateek. The Heli that I recently bought is identical in every respect to the Volitation and is a very stable flyer. Though I paid much more than what Prateek paid for his Heli, I am not complaining about the quality.

Cheers!

Fly like hell

the only problem with these 3 channel helis is that the rudder action is on the right side, (this is for the Mode 2 guys), so now when u want to fly 4 channel helis, where the rudder on the right has now becomes the aileron, it creats a habbit interference, i found it hapenning to me, and my son, so we just put it in the living room as a show piece. If u serously want to get into helis, and u a mode 2 guy, stay away from these 3 ch things. Go in for Walkera CB100 4 channel, and ur learning curve will be steep. Well, at the end of the day, its ur money !!!

One suggestion.  Kindly upload videos on Youtube instead of Facebook. One can always embed Youtube videos on Facebook.

OR, if you must use Facebook for videos, please set their access level so that they can be viewed without logging into facebook.  This allows sites like RC India to embed the video directly here, without forcing people to logon to Facebook Smiley

I bought this model yesterday & this is my 1st RC learning to fly on this would be fun, I am just reading the forum for learning the basics 1st.

Is there any shop in Delhi where I can buy a spare lipo battery for this?
How many months or no. of charges will this battery last?

Any shop in Delhi having the anti crash kit like shown in this image

Fly like hell

HI Ranjan,
u may not get spares for these heli in Indai.  i have not found so for. That is why it is better to get the CB 100 from ehirobo and order as many parts as u want. My son has CB100 which is fixed pitch 4ch and expremely stable, and i have 4G6S with 2801 Pro 8ch extreme 3D, and enough spares to make 2 more flying helis hahaha. The main reason is u will never get spare in India.

Thanks Ramesh for the info.

@prateek13
How long do you need to charge the battery 1st time, i did it for 2 hours & all I could fly the heli for 3-4 mins only.

Will the green light blink confirming that the the charge is fully done?
