Hello All,

I havent flown a heli yet and is still building one. I was thinking about hovering my heli and came across my mind a newbie doubt.

Kindly refer to the image below.

http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p89/ebinmoothedam/rudder_zps624e70f4.png
Tail direction while hovering ?

To which direction should the heli tail  move when I move the stick to the left ? [Green Arrow].. Will the heli tail move to direction like in picture A or picture B ?

Thank you a lot Smiley

RC India - Flying and racing with open minds !

Remember that you are driving the HEAD of the heli.  When you give left rudder, you turn the head of the heli towards the left, so the tail moves right.

Just remember that is ALL IN THE HEAD Wink

Yes, got it. I am a lot disoriented after trying my hands on a simulator. I only looked at the tail and tried to memorize. This new "view " should help me a lot.

The very first Heli I flew had it in like picture A.  I realized it after coming home. By then it was crashed(due to some other reason). SO thats what I say to everyone. SIM SIM AND MORE SIM. If I had to begin again, I would never touch a real heli till Iam able to fly around and come and land neatly in front of me on the SIM.

It takes 10 to 15 hours to rebuild a heli neatly after crash. Think of all the practice you can get if you spend 15 hours continuous in front of the sim instead of crashing!
Saves money to and wont disappoint!
