Hi Everyone  Smiley

I recently purchased a MT from Model art and I am planning to build it now .

The motor , ESC and Gyro are the stock ones .

On the Cylics i am using
3 * Metal gear turnigy servos 9g
1 * Ace R/C servo , came with the kit (  surprisingly  Clap )

I will be using a Turnigy 2200mAh 11.1v battery .

Will keep you people updated  Smiley

I wanted to know from everyone , What should be the belt tension for training because the manual says that not more than 5mm free play but few people told me it should be as loose as possible but it shouldn't skip a tooth . Any comments ?

Gaurav Bhaiya suggested a few things i should do like -
- Loosen the main rotor blades
- Loosen tail rotor blades
He also suggested as the CCPM/Gyro is controlling the cylics , My transmitter (6EXHP) should be turned to Airplane mode , and the Pitch and Throttle curves should be de-activated . Any idea how i could turn it off on my TX ? Huh?

Just set the type to "1-5" in the swash (SWSH) menu.  That should be the default, so you would be OK already.

Hey everyone ,
I have been hovering from the past week and have managed to hover it for 4 minutes without any break  Grin Grin Grin
Today i thought why not hover on my terrace and see how it goes in a smaller and much safer place and i was able to hover it around for quite a while .... Until ... The neighbours servants son saw the heli flying from the next houses terrace and started screaming to his dad . His dad just completely ignored him and he threw a stone at my heli , his aim was really perfect . It hit the main blades , and they broke .  Angry Angry Angry Angry  Cry Cry Cry

Fortunately only the main blades were damaged and nothing else . Now i need replacements !!!  Cry Cry Cry
Does any one know from where i can get them ? And wheather align blades would also work ?  Huh? Huh?
Thank you all ,
Sahevaan

Head Scratching  Head Scratching  Head Scratching Shocked  Shocked  Shocked  Is the gentleman out of his mind, to do something senseless like that ?  Huh?

Any 325mm (or similar sized) blades should work, including the Align ones.

Some blades do require the "rubber spacers". Please wait till someone like RotorZone/Rajesh comments, as they have much more experience with the MT.

Sad incident really. PLus congratulations on your hover.
Get the woodies from Rotor Chennai or the TT dealer in Bangalore.
TT Woodies are expensive, but then you shouldnt plan on crashing much, now that you are able to hover .

Ask that "dad" to buy new blades and some spares for you. And tell him that his son broke an expensive set of blades and lots of parts were broken.

If he is not willing to get them, then you throw a stone at his cars windscreen or house window, which ever glass is costlier.

All the best for your AIM   Thumbs Up

Anwar bhai, I said if the "dad" does not agree to pay. Wink. And I did not tell him to ask for a "imaginary" Gy 520/quark that his son broke by throwing stone. I said just a few spare parts, like main gear, shaft that will come in handy  Giggle

There might be vibrations if the FS is bent or the Damper rubbers are gone and hence if the blade wont track after you replace them.
