hello friends ..Is someone there to do help me .I am making a homemade heli which include chainshaw engine with 9 channel control system but i am facing a problem to make a gear box..Could someone give me suggestion how to resolve this situation./?Huh?

give some more details

what gearbox .. main rotor or tail ?




have you got access to cnc milling and turning machines ?

problem is that i never access to cnc machine but firstly i need to have a good design dimensions ...so could you please tell me what type of way i can use

main problem i that i am unable to understand that how i can attach to engine shaft with main rotor system shaft....i have no idea what type of pulley's or gears i can use to connect the main rotor system and tail rotor system with engine shaft..may be if you have pics then its better to understand

download the align trex 700 nitro manual. there are very detailed exploded
 drawings of each sub assembly.


read it and you will get some good insight.

The problem with homemade HELI is the swashplate construction which is one of the most complicated and important part in any heli. I think its nice try to build make a heli but very soon you realize about swashplate. Its better you think of it first. If you want to construct swashplate you need to be equipped with cnc.
