which type of glue is best for fixing a carbon fiber framed rc helicopter? i actually broke the tail boom. i have researched a bit and found out something called CA (cyano-acetate) and epoxy. which one is better to fix a tail boom?. shall i purchase a new tail boom and replace it?. i have tried feviquick but it didn't worked.
FeviKwik and CA are the SAME THING. FeviKwik is just a brand name for it. you should buy a new tail boom for it, since it is not easy to re-glue a tail boom perfectly straight
Try loctite 495, but dont know if it will be good for heli booms.
@RCNeil AFAIK Loctite 495 is also the same thing and FeviQuick
Buy a new boom - never heard of anyone successfully gluing a broken boom
Yep I agree with Raja ...you can straighten a littlle bit bent boom but never heard joing one with epoxy or CA
It's not worth crashing your heli again if the joint is not solid.
Gluing the Boom doesn't seems to be a good idea . Better replace .
i think i should better replace it. but i would try to fix it by epoxy.

i searched over the net and i saw feviqwick has 'cyano-acrylate' whereas CA is 'cyano-acetate'. i have no idea about difference between them. anyways, i would replace the tail boom.
hii man just replace it with a new one costing only rs 40 from rcbazaar, get it and enjoy it

@aarsh http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyanoacrylate
CA stands for Cyano Acrylate only
ok, CA is a abbreviation of cyano-acrylate, i got it! i am going to replace the boom as i think even after gluing,it wouldn't last long.
