I see a lot of threads in the RC India Electric forum where flyers are making great use of the drone 8520 motor with 1s lipo for their airplanes. Could have posted it in that forum, but this is Free Flight.

Sharing with all of you my flight using the same power system mentioned above and a 66 mm drome prop. The timer cuts off the motor at 10 seconds and the DT times brings the airplane down at 120 seconds after the motor cuts off.

Hope you like the flight video and perhaps try one.

Thermals,

Information sharing improves knowledge of both.

Hi Kalyanprodhan,

Sorry have no build photos as it is a simple stick and tissue/mylar construction. The salient thing is that there is no down or up thrust on the motor, just 2 degrees motor to the left, about 1/20 inch rudder to the right and zero incidence on the wing. Incidence on the stab is about 0.5 degrees and it flew right of the board, as they say. Just true, no skew, crooked construction that is light by rationing the use of glue, not light balsa for outdoors.

This one I designed and built myself. However there are many very good free plans on the net for E20.

Thanks for the kind words on the flight.
