Is the balsa weatherproofed for Garden Rail use? How have you done it? Paint & Varnish? Paint & Varnish? The balsa was first stained with commercial shellac and stain, followed by 2 coats of PU wood varnish. The coach roof was doped and then painted with acrylic black paint, and then covered with coarse tissue paper to give the look and texture of bitumen coated jute sheets. Regards Nilanjan Paul |
