I have just bought a dhc chipmunk from rcbazaar a few days back, I am confused on how to cover it, as the traditional way is using dope and tissue, generally for electric rc I use plastic gift wrapping paper and fevibond to stick it. The tissue provided in the kit does not give a scale look, but if i use the plastic will the airplane fly? I was planning to use the silver side of the my mylar paper to give it metallic steel look. Could you suggest what else can be used or should I stick to tissue paper method? I did a lot of google search, and for a rubber powered airplane tissue would be the only option. Jatayu- I checked Vikrams PT-17, its a master peice. To keep the scale apeal, I am planning it color it yellow, somewhat like the one in the below link. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1122575&page=3 I have just completed the fuselage.. and starting with wings...
