Title: Help with construction of ornithopter

hey guys i am new to ornithopters, all i know is that they use a flapping mechanism to fly and trying to gather information regarding the construction...i want to make an ornithopter which can carry  a load of 1kg(approx). i understand that the ornithopter is gng to be bigger as compared to usual one's.... plz suggest me on how to start with it..,and how to construct the design for wings..and the motor suggestion...flaps per second... ur suggestions are valuable to me...plz do reply soon

Shivang, try building a smaller orni first. That way you can learn about gear boxes and flapping mechanisms required for a certain payload capacity. See if you can source the mechanical parts from overseas. I tried (and succeeded) in building my own mechanism but had to invest a lot of time and money. Purchasing a ready-made orni gear box would be a much wiser option.
