I was worried it would ignite something on the ground, but it seems to be designed to burn out after a little while.

I have one dista (24 sheets) still kept in bookshelf. have flown several times during the immersion of Devi Jagadhatri in GuptiParah. The tissue can withstand more temperature than normal tissue. Generally coloured white.
Solar Hot Air baloon is another interesting thing made with black coloured carrybag. The Solar heat absorbed and makes the hot Air. Initially Solar Irradiation is concentrated using some reflector panel made of 20 micron reflecting foil in some cases. Those were big, about 4 or 5 feet long. Kalyan, are they available anymore? I would love to get some.
