Watch a Youtube vidoe of coffee table village layout in a 27" centre table. Used a N Scale set as this works best for Indian homes (esp Mumbai appartments). The layout is completely made using locally available materials. Nothing has been purchased off-the-shelf except for the two tractors and the train and tracks. Today lot of options available in India to create such models..
