I built this model village way back in 1990 with locally available materials. If I ever get a chance I will rebuild an improved version with a model train setup.

Difficult to have a Garden scale layout in Indian climatic conditions.

Maharana, any approximate idea of the scale of your village?

Maharana, It depends on the size of model village to select with the size Model Trains. But as per your wish you can have Trains running through but try to find the scale of trains like HO,N,Z  which will be opt for your garden village. The garden scale trains are mostly used in outdoor usage and consume a min of 10X5 feet for a good looking layout if planned in indoor.

@VC As you said the Garden Scale if used in outdoor it has to be properly planned and constructed. The tracks are perfectly made for outdoor activities and they do not corrode but during rain it has to be taken care that tracks should not be sunk for many days.

The smallest train system is "T-Gauge".

You can see the product range at:
http://www.trainaidsa.com/shop-tgauge.shtml

Currently we are evaluating dealer applications for dealerships in India for "T-Gauge". In a few months, we will be introducing other brands.

Those interested in dealerships can send us details via private email or to the address on the site. The dealer will be obliged to go through training, in basic repairs and modifications for each brand they wish to stock, so that they can offer appropriate service to their customers.

Hi, I am new in this model train rail road layout. I work on HO scale model train layout and having 7 sets of trains set and locomotive of all brands, purchased from Delhi & Pune. I just finish my Grandvalley layout of the size 8X4 ft. I have an idea to form the club of model rail road hobby in which all the member  show their activity and the ideas share with others.
