I had bought this rubber plane / glider from ebay for roughly Rs. 400-500 and it was a nice glider

Slow flier / Glider - Revamped using colored tape

I was planning to make it electric powered slow flier/trainer for myself but my bad luck the ESC got stuck somewhere in shipping and I could never complete it. I put it next to a halogen lamp (which was off at that time) hoping that I will take it away in some time. Another strike of bad luck and someone power on that light. Within few minutes it got a hole in the lower wing... very disappointed, I decided to fix it.. how?

Here is how.. Smiley

I made it single wing glider, mind you the wing that you are seeing is the damaged wing repaired using the colored tape I recently purchased. It turn out to be very light weight given the fact its wrapped all around with that tape, better in looks and very much flyable.

Those big thermocoal blocks you see are my safety gear to avoid any damage when it lands as I am hand launching it for now.
