well done - also  google "stretch winding rubber power plane"- you can easily put about 600 turns without
stressing. as you add more turns you will need to increase downthrust

You are getting too much power for too short duration.
Reduce thickness of rubber if you can, and increase length.
Reduce right rudder a bit, add right thrust instead, and find a larger field.
Remember Saikat sir's advice about 'stretch winding'

If you are under 18, and manage a 1 minute flight, i'll give you a Rs 1000 gift voucher as a prize.
I'm sure Saikat sir will be happy to reimburse me 50%!

Build another with less sharp camber in the wing, and will with better/more accurate finish.
Best of luck.

@saikat sir,
Poor me, the owner of only one single rubber band!

Could use some for the Magic too (360gms with 4 servos and giant wheels!, excl Rx, Esc, motor, prop)

Edit:
Tried twice, but first pic still upside down Head Scratching

Thanks Saikat-Da and KK sir. 'Peanut Scale' surely inspired me lot. I will also try to build a winding tool to do a  'stretch winding' and make a new one with less sharp camber. 1 Min looks too much to me for now but definitely I will try my level best. But I am already more than 18 Smiley

here are two of my few last remaining rubber power planes

first is a traditional model - balsa / japanese tissue and balsa prop ... can manage
about a minute in still air (18" span)

the second one is of foam wings and tail having a prop cut from a soft drink bottle

flies indoors and outside in calm weather

For those with limited resources, I may suggest my ideas. Fuselage=wooden Nonstick spoon cut into half. Propeller= same wood sanded to thin sheet glued to refill and shaft made of steel safety pin cut and bend to shape.Wings made of polystyrene plate attached together by sellotape.Wheels made of caps from vials used in hospitals attached to thin metal wires. And waiting for Saikat's rubberpower....

@si74,
That is a nice flyer!
Do you still have it?
If so, perhaps you could try these:
1. Increase the fin size about 50%, or add a sub fin below the stab. This will cure the wing rocking (Dutch Roll)
2. Add more turns and/or more rubber if you can.

If you had posted a build log, please post a link. Otherwise post a build log if you have photos.

yes sure sir,I do have it.It is a recent video,Thank you for the diagnosis for its malfunction,I'll surely rectify it.Thanks to arindamt,for this model was inspired by his creation. The propeller was made from handwash bottle, tail piece a straw Grin to reduce weight, the wings lengthened using double side tape.Here are some snaps...

Hi ahmedt, for the takeoff power, I used usual transparent rubber bands one layer mixed with tourniquet ( used by nurses) split into four then one piece tied together.

Hi,

last night Mr KK Iyer mentioned the rubber chord that we have in the sock elastic, ever thought of trying that.  I have also seen the street balloon vendors use it for the Yo Yo balloons.

But the elastic thing( of course not from socks Smiley ) I tried.But not good enough,as its turns wont last long . Somebody ( Now I cant remember, sorry) in this forum mentioned about tourniquet which is as good as Tan and so I too tried that and found it really good. I am yet to try the original Tan super sports one which I hope Saikat would send me and then I'll write a review after comparing.
