I have been a fan of airfix kits and heard that they are being manufactured in india.
could you please hunt down the factories producing airfix products.
that would be a great help to me and other moddelers.

Prabal, with you on this. However, it is a closely guarded secret. I had once contacted a seller who had advertised himself as a manufacturer of 'Airfix construction model kits' on tradeindia or some other forum. Once I got him on the line, he flatly refused any conversation saying that it was a mistaken identity / wrong number.

It is a fact that most Airfix kits are manufactured in India. Buy a kit and you may find (8 out of 10 cases) that it says 'Made in India" on the carton. What a pity!

If the stuff i bought for my kids at Hamley's is Made in India, i have to
