Title: RC Tanks in India
Post by: Jilansville on January 12, 2012, 09:57:47 AM
Hi guys,
Any of you know a place to buy RC tanks from? A Local one. Not an international one like hobbyking. Cause i would like to avoid having any issues with customs.
As an Example check this link,
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__12668__German_Panther_RC_Tank_RTR_w_Airsoft_Tx.html

Jilan its too easy to make an rc tank,or rc AFV yourself..and can also add mock up firing systems and can go for many extras on it..including a manipulator..try once...you can use the toothed belt intended for sewing machines, in various length, and width for tracks..can also add for an even more longer one..works nicely with plastic gear boxes..or can purchase 10, 20, 40 RPM hi torque gear boxes, or can easily done by two heavy duty servos by reworking on it, for continuous rotation in to both directions..as most of the tanks and FPVs are steered by track speed alternation, its too easy to attain steering control with two servos...cool..you can make a craft within a 2000 Rs including servos..without radio..try..make..run..enjoy...ta..ta..ta...doommm..dooommm...fire..fire...

if you are not willing to work with tracks, can also go with wheels..adding two wheels to servos, and leaving other wheels as free..works nicely...360 degree..from stand still..

Thanks for replying. But i am kind of looking for WW2 Tanks. I can never build something like that with the proper hull and body.
