Hi friends, currently im trying a rubber band powered aeroplane... I'm not getting the right rubberband for good thrust and time of run.... I use cycle tube, it gave a good thrust, but time of run is very less... less than 3 sec.... if i use sweet box rubberband, im not getting enough thrust.... im looking for a synthetic rubberband especially for this... pls suggest me wher i can get...

Information sharing improves knowledge of both.
Cycle tube is useless. Try nylon type rubber band (looks like semi transparent yellow/red/green colored but seemed dipped in OIL) if available and you will get 50-60% effect of TAN -II or TAN-Sport rubber. If still you cannot get it, PM me I have lots of it but 3".
I generally make series them to make larger length.

But for duration TAN rubbers are ultimate requirement if you need duration.

Last year Saikat-da of this forum favored me to send me some TAN Rubber which still I Use.

As RCIndia have no free flight sub-forum, search

For your quick search, go to computer assembly shops. Different computer peripherals comes with this rubber band as packing material.
