Hello,
I am not getting any servo extensions around as they are out of stock. So my question is can we use push rods in a tricopter??

Yes you can just set up the tilt correctly. Rather than using extensions of sorts just directly connect servo.
Use this tilt mechanism: http://rcexplorer.se/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/tricopter69.jpg

Build planes like feathers rather than tanks, both handle bullets equally well.

So do you mean I cut the servo wire , extend it by adding 3 more wires and connect it to the fc??

you need to extend only one wire ( signal) from the servo to the flight controller.

the other two wires +ve and gnd connect to the +ve and gnd wires of the esc (servo lead) which
is going to be mounted for the tail motor.

to summarise

tail servo and tail esc +ve and -ve to connect to each other.
signal leads of both tail servo and tail esc to extend to flight controller.

just cut a piece of single strand wire and solder for extension.

Darshan, whatever you do, shorter the connection between servo and tilt mechanism, better the performance will be in the long run,
if you clearly see any video of tricopter flying, you will see that the maximum movement required by the servo to make the copter make a 360deg turn is very short, so there is no space for slop or loose bends.

What I have decided to do is that I will cut the servo wire .. Take 3 new wires and solder them on both ends.. This is the most convenient way for me I think. .suggestions needed

Thats the best way, and i recommend it as better than a servo extender. they can become loose over time and could be the killer reason for a copter, but a carefully put soldering with heat shrink can never give up. i did this in my copter and working good. i soldered the spare wires that came  with cc3d board, they are thin and strong.

that is not going to work

also check out the tail servo placement in helis - they are
placed well inboard. a cppm heli can fly circles around a tri.

I would say we both were right,
If you could make rock solid, slop free, setup like a tail rotor setup in heli, then you can put the servo close to FC and use push rods, and still heli uses loops to hold the pushrod on atleast two places to stop it from bending.

But whatever you are using is not a pushrod at all, pics shown in saikat sir post shows a rod which can push the lever and making the setup to yaw, but your setup is different, the rod tilts the yaw mechanism completely which is not going to happen and there will be lot of issues with that.

Just saw your latest pic(inverted!!) can you post a closeup pic of the yaw mechanism alone,
