Hey everyone , this is Parichya here ( 3rd Year B.Tech Mechanical ) . I and my friend are planning to make a QuadCopter from scratch ( buying the parts , building up etc ) . I just have a very vague and a general idea about the stuff so joined this Site for a better in-sight . I would REALLY appreciate if someone can guide me through the complete process . It has everything you need, you just have to add your radio.

Good option ... will the transmitter i mentioned above work with this ?

Yes it will work fine, but soon you will want to upgrade to a more advance radio which would allow you to program exponentials and throttle curve. But should be good enough to start with.
And BTW you'll have to buy a charger also.

1> Ok , now if use the 4000mAh battery instead of the one in the kit ... will it be fine ? ( Less voltage i guess )

Hey Parichya bro, please go with readymade combo as admin SLS suggested. You will need radio, charger etc. You can use 6ch radio but if you want to stay in this hobby then go with good quality radio. More mAh means more flight time, just like bigger fuel tank but big tank has more weight and it(4000mAh lipo) will take more time to charge so you should also consider that. The picture you linked is called Y-6 our forum member dreamfly sir has built one like that. For quadcopter having motors mouted upside down not recommended. Rough landing might damage props and motors so go with standard setup.

I'm just a student know thats why i cant extend my budget bu a lot .. so ill go with the 6 Channel transmitter only ( For now ) , but trust me , one day when ill be earning , m gonna make something massive .... OK , for now , what'll your suggestion be ? ... get that kit ? and the stuff ... ? .... BTW , how much backup will the battery in the kit will give ?

The battery which comes with the kit is a perfect match should give you more than 5 mins flight time, 4000mAh is heavy, for your first bird you should always try to build as light as possible.
The kit comes with KK Multicopter Control Board which already has quad firmware loaded so no programming required. But you can change the firmware later if required using the USBasp AVR Programming cable that comes with the kit. There are many videos oh youtube on how to update firmware.
The picture you have posted is of a Y6 copter; different from what you are trying to build; a quad copter.

By default KK board comes with quadcopter plus firmware preloaded so yes you have to assemble it, however it's just 50% work done. Rest 50% is to learn flying and it might take some time. If you are determined go and grab the combo.

One thing though , how will the Copter link to the transmitter that ill buy ?

The transmitter will be linked to the receiver wirelessly. You will get receiver with your TX.

QUERIES BEFORE I FINALLY TAKE THE JUMP

1> I am not sure in the Charger dept. will it work with the battery provided in the kit ?
2> Is it true that its plug and play types ?
3> Will the software ( AEROFLY PRO ) be of any help as the transmitter has a USB port too ?
4> Some license stuff is to be done for buying the transmitter ?

1. The battery comes with your combo is 3S so both chargers will work.
2. It's a kit
3. No idea what you are trying to say about aerofly pro but transmitter is computer programmable and programming cable and software CD comes with it. If you want to use it for simulator then you will have to buy simulator cable separately.
4. Yes you will have to provide it. Check rcbazaar's page.
Let me clear few things. The word "plug and play" is not suitable here in this case. It's combo of perfect configuration so you don't have to buy things separately and no more hassle to select right motor-prop-esc-battery etc. You will have to be ready to do some DIY stuff at home like soldering connectors etc. I see bullet connectors and male to male connectors not listed in the combo so you will have to buy them separately. If you really need something plug and play then check FOR SALE section, some ready to fly mini quadcopters are available here. So finally it's upto you bro.

You will need 3.5mm bullet connectors to connect motor and escs and male to male connectors to connect FC to the receiver. Please check Satyagupta or Adiboy bros topic in for sale section.
