Got the AR Drone2 and had the first flight...quite a nice machine...will try it outdoors on sunday....

The onboard video looks very stable... very nice machine... outdoors it will be awesome... do upload the vidzz....

congrats buddy !! what is the range on that thing (its wifi and only iOS compatible, right ??). What is the cost ??

I watched one of these fly at out baseball field yesterday for 15 minutes.  The pilot was using an ipad to control it.  For a toy it's awesome.  For those wanting to do more serious aerial video, you can get a much better setup for the $300, either a more heavy duty quadcopter for small space work or even a Axion Clouds with a GoPro for wide space outdoor work.

Saw it in a toy shop at CP Yesterday. Curiously askd its price and it was a bomb he said 27,000. I am sure its not that much!

Thank you guys 8-) 8-)....it is indeed a great drone to have.... very stable,no hassels to fly and the benefit of two installed cameras and IOS or android device to control. The range is stated to be around 150 feet. but the company advises you to fly it at an altitude of around 10-15 meters.The biggest problem is to get it. the box is quite large (almost two feet by two feet) so with present baggage rules it can only come as extra checked in baggage. so asking someone to carry it for you is a bit too much. I got it through RCINDIA from a gentleman from Kolkata. @asinghatiya..you saw it at which shop in CP, and the price is really not too much. see it costs $300 in US without shipping, so add shipping to india and maybe some duty...
the drawback is the battery life. the company is saying that its coming out with a bigger battery. I plan to take it out in a day or two.will put up the video. Meanwhile I am waiting for the arm to arrive so that I can repair my F450 quadcopter. flying that needs some skills.
