Post by: parichya.gautam on March 24, 2013, 12:55:50 AM
I FINALLY got my Quad ready :D ... but now im having issue in Arming the quad . What i saw that i had to turn the transmitter right , then down to arm it , but all i get is a blue led when power is connected to the quad and continous BEEPING  .

Back ground :

I have KK Multicopter 5.5 board
Bought an assembled kit from RC Fever :

http://www.rc-fever.com/quadcopter/alloy-450-quadcopter-aircraft-combo-kit-not-assembled.html

UPDATE :

Well , this is strange now , The Quad is armed now but i cant get any response from the motors , only the usual periodic BEEP is coming ..

Also , this is Random - Sometimes the frantic continous BEEP comes and then suddenly its get armed but no response from the motor .

I built the quad in a day and was so happy that ill be able to fly it soon . And now the problems here .

Please help me out , you are my ONLY hope .

(a) Depending on your Tx, some channels needs to be reversed

(b) you config looks like for + change it to X might work

(c) Strapping the board with a rubber band seems to be a bad idea

(d) Do not put the prop before you are very sure, these things can be very dangerous

a> ' Reversed ' as in( soory im totally new to this )

b> X .. how will i do that ?

c> I actually have fixed it below , the rubber bands are just an extra precautionary measure :)

d> No , the props are out now , will take care of that :)

Hi Gautam
As you have X config loaded, i think your board placement is wrong. The arrow on the board shows the directin. If you have X config, it should be between two arms. For + config it should be pointed to the one arm.

Is it FS-CT6B? Try increasing EPA to the max(120). Confirm which firmware you have loaded. Check pots. If your yaw pot is at 0 position, your board will remain in ESC calibration mode and give you beeps. Check tx config as well. Throttle zero position should be downside of the sticks.
