Hi,
I want to built a hex with overall weight around 2KG. Its my project built and now I am stuck on choosing motors. Hobbyking has wide variety of motors than Indian market and I want to know which will be best in Indian market. Grin
I have a 550mm Frame which can accommodate 22~28 mm motors.
Additional, I am using Pixhawk as my flight controller.
Also please suggest me best ESCs for that motors. I am having budget around 8000~10000 at most for 6 motors, ESCs and props.  Indian Rupees

One question. I am seeing some DJI 920kv motors on some sites like ebay and also some people selling it here, having a thrust of 1.2KG Shocked Are these motors are original DJI motors and can generate that much thrust? Is it good to buy that? Because hobbyking don't have such motors to sell..
Thank a lot in advance.
Regards

Get DT-700 motors if you can, or DT-750. They are quite efficient with larger prop sizes. I think quadkopters sell the DT-750s..

Get the Xrotor 20A from here
Get SunnySky 980kv 2212 from here
Use the motors with a 9inch prop on 4S you should be easily able to get the desired amount of thrust. Just make sure not to use more than 10 inch props with these motors on 4S. You will find that the motors are rated for 3S but they run fine on 4S upto 10 inch prop
