Title: Betaflight f4 wiring doubt
Post by: Imperial fire on June 09, 2018, 02:20:21 PM
Hey can anyone tell me where to connect the fsia6 rx output to the betaflight f4?
The fsia6b Rx has ibus output...
Should that output go to the sbus pads on the f.c? Or to the dsm2 pads?
Also what UART should I enable in the setup for the same?

I have currently connected it to the sbus pad and enable UART 6. But the f.c won't respond to any transmitter input in the receiver section...
Yes I have enabled ibus in the port section...
P.s I am using the fsi6 radio.

okay so ive been working on this non stop all day...its all ready..
i am confident that the sbus port and the ibus ports are the same.

PROBLEM IS my quad wont arm . when i connect it to the software on pc it says arming disabled.

also the receiver tab doesnt respond to any transmitter throttle etc changes

yes i have activated serial rx for uart 6 and selected the correct options in ports tab for ibus.
what have i missed.??

1. Make sure only Serial Rx is enabled on the UART corresponding to the SBus pad
2. Make sure IBus is selected as the serial receiver protocol in the configuration tab
3. Make sure serial rx inversion is off in CLI. IBus is not an inverted protocol (like SBus) as far as I know

I forgot to do step 3 ..but then I decided to put my ibus in a different UART that did not have inversion...so it ended up working fine.
Thanks for the tip . I had zero clue as a beginner took me forever to figure it out.
