Title: Choosing a landing gear for quadcopter.
Post by: RD1452002 on May 17, 2014, 11:03:06 AM
I'm building a quadcopter with-
Z450 FlameWheel Flame Center without circuit board Frame from
http://www.quadkopters.com/product/z450-flamewheel-flame-center-without-circuit-board/ (http://www.quadkopters.com/product/z450-flamewheel-flame-center-without-circuit-board/).
                                                                                               -and-
an FPV Pan Tilt With 9G Servos from
http://www.quadkopters.com/product/fpv-pan-tilt-with-9g-servos/ (http://www.quadkopters.com/product/fpv-pan-tilt-with-9g-servos/).
So I need a landing gear for my quadcopter which is tall enough for the FPV and I also strong enough to bear 750g.

I am confused  ??? between:
DIY Universal Landing Gear Set from http://www.sp4mm3r.com/diy-universal-landing-gear-set.html (http://www.sp4mm3r.com/diy-universal-landing-gear-set.html)
                                                                                                -and-
M200 Crab Leg Landing Gear Set DIY from http://www.sp4mm3r.com/m200-crab-leg-landing-gear-set-diy-red.html (http://www.sp4mm3r.com/m200-crab-leg-landing-gear-set-diy-red.html).
I don't know the height of the DIY Universal landing gear so I'm asking this question.
Suggestions are welcome and my budget for the landing gear is under ₹1500.

Or should I make a landing gear just out of thick wires and and small hollow aluminium rods.
