Title: connection of receiver to FC?
Post by: monika77 on January 23, 2013, 12:26:46 AM
How to connect the receiver with the FC board? Am building a tricopter, rcexplorer kind, using a HobbyKing V2 board. I have the male to male servo wires..can anyone post a proper connection diagram? Where does each wire plug go into the receiver ports?

Thanks.

Do you see the AIL, ELE, THR, RUD marked on the board? That's where you connect the AILeron, ELEvator, THRottle and RUDder of your receiver.

The connectors on both the FC and the receiver would be in this sequence:

Signal             VCC             GROUND

So while connecting the FC and the receiver, check that you put the servo wires in the correct way i.e ground of the FC goes into the ground of the receiver.

you can connect FC to RX with two servo wires only.

Connect ALE to CH 1 on RX as vertical (normal way that we connect any servo cable)

Connect other wire on signal lead of ELE,THR,RUD horizontal  and same way on Rx

Thank you sir for the easy solution!

I have another question. I am using HK SS series 25 Amp escs for the tri.. I donot have a programming card. Is it necessary to program the Escs? Its mentioned in the forum that it can be done with the Tx-Rx..But the Escs I am using, how to program them? I am a complete beginner, so a bit of explanation would help me greatly.
Thank You.
