             We are building a PC controlled Tricopter platform as a part of our Final B Tech Project. I'll be posting build data as i do it. I expect suggestions and help from u all. We will be controlling it from joystick and my friend is going to write a software in visual basic for that. Connected to PC with 2.44 GHz RF link the tricopter with a atmega 328 controller board will have a self stabilizing control system.

Well My suggestion is to get involved in the already umteen number of open source multicopter projects.  Starting from scratch might not be a good Idea unless you have all the knowledge, Tools, Hardware etc etc to build one from scratch.  This way you can also contribute to the already existing code and make it better for the community to use. (please dont build another Linux, Just make it better)
