I suspect the speed controllers are fake, I have asked Emax to look into the matter , can you post a link to the aliexpress page from where you have bought them ( the one above does not work ).
Emax esc's are pretty good I have never had one fail on me.
When buying stuff from Chinese websites please check reviews written by real customers.

seeing the images, i wonder how you have terminated the working end of the ESC , since they are not connected to any motor, still they appear bunched together. If they short in anyway , this could be an issue, since they output alternating current , simple insulators would fail easily.

Thanks for the information Chintal. Actually the purchase link that I posted earlier has expired entirely and aliexpress have posted with some other product in that link.

I checked all the ESCs, each FETs has different codes printed over it, not all 6 FETs are similar for 4 ESCs. Will it be same for original ESCs (This information will be helpful for my next purchase on ESC)

I agree with you Mr. pnkyjs. Only 2 out of 4 ESCs were soldered with 3pin Xt60 connector. Even the open working end ESCs got burnt.

Hi Kiran,

I checked for continuity at the output terminals (A B C) . . . I could see short-circuit at terminals A-B in all ESCs and A-B-C in 2 ESCs. Will this happen when the ESCs are fake/ unreliable ?? Or this is due to the burnt FETs Huh?

Two possibilities...
1) The A,  B lines/traces on the PCB may be shorted on all the ESC's.
2) Burnt FET's. It's possible that not all the MOSFETs are burnt on the 2 of them,  hence showing contuinity for just A,  B.

The former possibility can only be eliminated by testing new ESC. It maybe a manufacturing defeat(usually happens with counterfeit products)

Thanks All !!!

I come to a conclusion that the ESCs were counterfeit. Though it's a loss of money and time, I would like to make a wise move then.

I am using EMAX MT3110 - 700kV motors and 14.8V - 4500mAh - 45C Lipo for my application. The maximum current being 17.6A at max throttle for 12x3.8 prop. The thump rule for ESC selection that i followed was 1.5 x 17.6 = 26.4A.

I am about to purchase 5 sets of ESC.

1. Which will be a suitable 25A or 30A ESC ?
2. Which firmware shall I go for (Blheli or Simonk) ?
3. Which brand to go with and where can I get a reliable one ?
