Title: Fibre glass Epoxy sheet vs Carbon fibre sheet for multirotor centre plates.. Post by: joy4u on May 14, 2012, 06:40:10 PM I have been building and flying multirotors for 3 years but I have never used carbon fiber sheets for center plates of the frame ..
I have always used glass fiber epoxy sheets 1mm .. Can someone please tell me what will be the difference if I use the 1mm carbon fiber sheets instead... How light and strong will it be from the glass fiber epoxy sheets , also is it worth according to the price difference... BTW, where do you get fiber glass Epoxy sheets? I need them VERY badly. What kinds of stores sell them? ???

I'd like to suggest (if I may) you to buy from a local dealer in Mumbai, this way you can save you lot of money, time and hassles and inturn to us too. It's located in Vasai in MH, some 60km from Mumbai. (google maps) Good luck and let me know any updates thru this thread. Title: Re: Post by: v2 eagle on February 24, 2015, 07:06:56 PM Havent used it in multicopters but worked with them in the past extensively. Yes they come from .5mm to 3mm and in different sizes, its your best bet if you want it durable, cheap and light. Cutting them is tricky challenge though!
