Friends,
I have seen in one post that flight time of a quadcopter built by hemanth guru is 36min with 400gm extra payload.the motors used by hemanth are tiger motors and 2650mah battery.link of motors is http://www.rctigermotor.com/show.php?contentid=132
How does this possible. Please clarify my doubt....................thanks in advance

That discussion says each motor is consuming only 6 amps and producing 400 g thrust ..

looks like super efficient motor

http://www.ecalc.ch/xcoptercalc_e.htm?ecalc

You can use this tool to check the flight time and other details. I have found the results to be in +/- 15% of the results.
Even i have my doubts about the claim being made.

MY QUAD a custom built 600 mm..... flies only 10 min with 3.3 batery..... with 3.7 it does 12 min .... to increase my flight time i just increased the the tank to 8.4  it does 20min.........  so from my personal flying experiance by increasing the size of your batt..... you will definatly increase the flight time... but it will also increase the weight... which will result into non-linear graph between the battery current rating vs the flight time.
