well i have the 2814 700kv motor on my hexacopter.
according to the data it will give 2.1kg thrust with 5S and 11" props
380kv motor has 2.2kg but will take only 15-17A current with 6S and 15.5" props

what frame are you buying?

Whats your budget for this complete build?
and why building a CF frame? it will be costlier!
go with a tarot 810 or 960 hexacopter frame, very very rigid!

Dear Mr. Ramarao,

I found  Tarot T960 C/F Folding Hexa-copter suitable for me. I have ordered one and it is in customs currently. I will let you know the comments shortly. If you are planning to lift expensive payloads like 5D Mark-3 I would strongly recommend you to buy a frame rather than building it yourself.

Custom frames might have large vibrations which will creep into your video. If you are only going to take photographs you can think of building a frame else please consider buying one.

Anyway what is your choice for Gimbal?

by the way, for a 5D like camera , a cinestar gimbal or its clone is recommended.
most of the aerial photographers use that. costs ~550$

I had a very bad experience with photohigher. Though I have not used cinista.I agree with rahul. It is definitely better than photohigher. Now I have ordered a cinistar clone from tarrot. I will update once I get it in hand.$550 from where? Does it include electronics and controller?

This is an coax with custom built frame. Though it can easily carry 5D I am not able to trust it so much.

I want to fly this for a while to understand its dynamics(problems actually Giggle). I am not confident because I made the frame LOL Giggle. Apart from this he is a capable guy. Weighs 7kgs without payload. He has also completed wapypoint navigation and landed without any problem. It has an endurance of about 15-18 mins with 1kg payload.

Once the shipment jumps out of customs I will have a gimbal to play with. I will do a good waypoint mission with a gopro first if all is well... I could load it with other expensive equipments.

Hi sir... you can use pvc pipes to build the structure...I am not an expert in multirotors but pvc pipes are cheap and best... you can also get the required connector... good mix of strength, light weight and cost efficiency
