Title: HELP= ATLAS FLIGHT CONTROLLER...
Post by: SKY KALAI on May 10, 2020, 08:28:30 PM
Greetings Folks... :) :)
I'm SKYKALAI. i have a 450mm frame quadcopter. and I'm using Rctimer's Atlas Flight Controller , 30A ESC, 920kv motor, FSi6X radio. am using also kk 2.1.5 FC too. in my TX the aileron and rudder channels are reversed, i didnt reversed it. i dont know how it happen in my TX.
1) kk board
when i use a kk board in my quad, the arming was done by rudder( all persons known) . But TX rudder and aileron was reversed,so the arming method also reversed. but its  not a big problem. because i reversed the channels in in reverse option in  my TX. so no problem.
2) ATLAS FC
when i use atlas board. all configurations are done. first test of my quad in atlas FC. i move the aileron to right side but, the quad moves left side. it goes left and hit the tree :banghead:, i lost one cw propeller :'(. so, i understand the problem, the problem in TX and flight controller. but first i think the problem in FC. the second try. i reversed the channel in reverse option my TX. in my quad the propellers are fixed. this time i sured there is no problem, the quad will fly very well. but when i try to arm my quad, it wont arm. i shocked. and i calibrate the ESC and quad again. but it wont arm again. the arming method of atlas fc is like DJI FC's 4th mode( right gimbal to the left lower side  and left gimbal to the right lower side) . the channels are reversed, thats why the quad wont arm. so i move the gimbals to the upper side. so the throttle goes 100 percent . and also the quad fly its maximum rpm. i feared. i land the quad, very hardly because  it goes almost 50 meters height. there is no camera.
this is my problem guys. help me to solve this problem.
way1 = reversed the channels at it perfect side.
way2 = changing the arming method ( using switch) but i dont know how to change the arming method of a FC.

[ my biggest mistake is check the quad when the propeller is fixed. please aware of this guys :banghead:]
i attached some of my quad pics....

waiting for the solutions guys..

best Regards..

1st check if the board is in the correct orientation.
2nd there should be a rx tab in the fc software where you can move the gimbals and see the values change in the software. check that and reverse  the channels accordingly. arming method you might not be able to change.
always remove props when connecting to the fc. incase you need to power the quad.

Hello sir..thanks for reply :hatsoff: :hatsoff: :hatsoff:...but I do all the steps as you said in reply.. and in firmware software the aileron and rudder channels are moves opposite direction.. I think change the arming method is better . But I don't know how to do that. You know that's sir.
Thanks  :salute:

and in firmware software the aileron and rudder channels are moves opposite direction..

fix this in tx software and make it move in the correct direction. also checkk throttle position in the same tab to make sure it is moving in the right direction. your fix is very simple and you need to read the tx manual properly and also the fc manual.

yeah ok sir, thanks for reply :salute: :salute: but in firmware i changed the direction easily, but in arming is the problem, when i arm the quad i need to go throttle 100 percent, so its initial speed goes its maximum speed. then how can i use my quad, its very dangerous. i think to change the mode of arming method is best way. i dont know how to change the arming method in FSi6X TX.

send a picture of the flight controller software radio calibration page!

when you moved yaw(rudder) the value in the configuration doesnt seem to move. also when you move roll, many other values change. the mixing on the tx seems to be wrong.

Is this main channels need mixing.. but in display shows all are perfect bro..I don't know why this happening..any idea bro  :hatsoff:

either use pwm or ppm sir. You have connected the receiver to the flight controller board for the pwm setup (acc to the picture) and in the video you have selected ppm as the input.

I'm using PPM output mode in assistant.

What you did in the last is correct,
Basically if you move the sticks in the the right direction for aileron and rudder your slider should move right as well, same goes for throttle and elevator, if you move them up then they should show right deflection in the slider.

One thing I noticed was Ch 5 and Ch6 are also moving when you are moving sticks, this shouldn't happen , ch 5 and ch6 control the flight modes, so having them change in flight while moving the sticks is not correct. You may have done some channel mixing , I suggest you move ch 5 and ch6 to some switch

You can probably checkout dji naza setup with flysky it radio, these are the same FC little different but you'll get a better idea

yeah bro, just now i checked my tx output mode as PWM . we need to sent the signal via separate cables . then only that signal reaches the receiver 100 percent. PPM also gives perfect signal transmission but, sometimes{ with respect to the radio } it will interrupt. as i shown in previous post, the rudder and other channels are confused , thats why the channels arent move well. so i change the output of PWM gives good result for me. but the aileron and rudder channel are reversed too.  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
still i dont know what happen. i forgot to say, first am using FSi6X tx for testing, the channels are reversed. and then i try FSi6S TX. that TX aileron  and rudder channels reversed. finally i confirmed the problem in FC only ,not TX. if you have any idea to changing the arming method of FC . please tell me ... :hatsoff: :hatsoff: :hatsoff: :hatsoff:
i attach a throttle lock and unlock pic below

Reverse the channel on the TX end, you don't have option to change on the FC end,
Unfortunately you won't be able to change the arming method as well.

Thank you very much. Just what I am looking for.
I mailed RC Timer a few times but they do not seem to like to reply.

Ohhh ok bro. I'm happy now . Because I found a person who used atlas flight controller.
