I have built a hexacopter using parts from RcBazaar.

I am using Naza m lite as controller with 2830 850kv avoinic motors, 30A ESC and using 5200mah battery for my hexacopter. All the motors are getting hot after 2 mins of flight.

The second problem I have is with this setup it shows low battery after 2 min 30 secs and lands. Any idea why are s this behavior?

Try reducing the prop by an inch or two

another thing is motor's quality.
and one more thing that you can do is reduce the weight of your quad.

what is the c rating o the battery? if its low then the low volt warning is inevitable also the naza low voltage settings are quite conservative... try reducing them and lower the loaded voltage to around .60V

it would probably be a 35C if i was to guess, a wolfpack 5200 35c.

what is the weight of your hexa ?

and if ESC is programmable then just Set "LOW Timing" on All Escs.

It is around 1.6 kg only.

I have tried setting ESC also but still the same issue.

And have checked with Akash also who was in Bangalore before. He is a good friend of mine, but he could not help in fixing the issue.

Have tried many methods which are in google, Now only left is to change the motors and ESC and try

pls try with a other lipo before u change the motor and esc
i have not used wolfpack 5200 mah bt surely 2200mah lipo wasnt that good , also check if u havent over tighten the motor mount screws .

I think you should try with a lower pitch propeller before changing the motor and ESC...

At what voltage did you set the Naza low voltage alarm ?

Before doing any modifications with the setup , I suggest you use an external voltage alarm (that connects to LiPo balance lead ) and turn of Naza 's battery monitor - set the external voltage alarm to trigger at 3.6V per cell and check flight time.

I have set first alarm at 11.00 Volts and second at 10.50 Volts.
But my naza lands when my battery is 12.00 volts only. I have same setup with Quad and it works perfecly fine.

with this setup my hexacopter will is flying for 2 mins and then lands. After that if i check the battery it shows 12.00 volts only.
Not able to fix this issue at all.

Try connecting both lipo alarm and naza and then check voltage while in stall position so that you can analyse both the voltages and come to conclusion whats wrong. Sometimes due to excessive current drain the battery voltage will fall down, after turning off the motors the voltage may again rise to normal. There may be a chance that naza triggered a false alarm when the battery voltage was low while supplying excessive current. Try changing battery with a high "C" rated.

I am using 35c for my setup and i think it is good enough.

With voltage monitor and naza connected, it shows as 12.00 volts only and still it will land below 12 volts
