Start by reading the RC India gems: http://www.rcindia.org/rc-india-forum/the-rc-india-gems/. 15-20 is a pretty long flight time for your first quadcopter. I would suggest you aim for a more realistic time like 10 minutes. You need to be a lot more specific in your questions before anyone can help. Read some more threads on this forum. You should first get an idea of what specific size quadcopter you need, what its purpose is e.g. photography, stunt flying, whether you will build your own frame or buy one, what your budget is and so on. You should then choose parts based on these factors. If you have the budget you could start with pre matched kits from here: http://www.quadkopters.com/product-category/arf-kit-rtf-kit-and-frames/

See this for an idea on how to build your own quad: http://www.rcindia.org/multirotors/custom-fpv-quadcopter-build/?all. You can use aluminium for the arms. 6-7k is very low. You will have to spend at least 10k even if you buy second hand stuff. Do you have a transmitter/ receiver yet? That itself will cost around 3k minimum. See this post for a minimum cost breakdown http://www.rcindia.org/multirotors/custom-fpv-quadcopter-build/msg203176/#msg203176.

U say u want 15 mins flight time , d battery alone will cost u 3.5k  ..., and u can't buy cheap motors if u want 15mins flight time, motors will cost maybe 3.5k , flight controller will cost 1.7k , the cheapest escs will cost u 700rs per esc u need 4 , there are kits available for around 10k @ quadkopters.com ( excluding battery, charger, ND TX,rx all that will cost u around 6k)

Flight time depends on the battery ( the more Mah the more flight time ),motors ( motors that are more efficient will have more flight time, ND they cost more 2 ) and props ,since u r saying u want a smaller quad , u can buy cheap motors (abt 3k) , and escs for abt 2.4k , kk2.1 ( 1.7k) , TX rx will be 3k , battery abt 2k +charger 500rs

http://m.instructables.com/id/Sturdy-Quadcopter-Build/... Check that out , there are many types of frames , check it out ... ( all u require is 2 bars placed to form an x ,for ur frame...), d material is ur choice (should be lightweight although)the dimensions are also ur choice (depends on what u want , and what the capacity of ur motors are, do some research on quadcopters, how it works and its parts

If u can spend 16-16.5k u can build something like this ..
2.km radio , can fly really high ..and capable of carrying a camera, flight time of 10-15mins

Building a quad requires a lot of time, money and dedication. Before you buy anything, do as much research as possible. Learn about all the parts used, how to choose parts, building techniques etc. These links may help:

I have been reading the threads
I want to know how to decide which type of flight controller to use nd do we need to code it from pc or its already been coded
And i will be making own frame using aluminum or fiber glass or carbon sheets listed by many people

The kk 2.1 is widely considered the best beginner's flight control board. It has an on board LCD screen for easy setup. It has relatively limited functionality e.g. no GPS but at it's price - 2100 in India, it is an excellent option for a beginner. The MultiWii board has been also suggested since you can add features like GPS later but it does not have a screen. For the transmitter, I would recommend one of these: Avionic RCB6i (Rs. 3000), FlySky FS-T6 (Rs. 3900), FlySky TH-9x (Rs. 5050), Turnigy 9X/9Xr/9XR pro (Rs. 7200-10000)

The problem is that your budget is 6-7k. An APM 2.6 flight control board with a GPS module itself will cost around 6k. So that does not leave any money for the actual quadcopter. I suggest you start with a kk 2.1 and buy an APM later. Otherwise, PM sooraj.palakkad. He helped in building my quad and he also completed a quad with a DIY MultiWii board so you should ask him about MultiWii. I really don't know much about the Multiwii/ Crius boards.

Hi, cool16yash , Received your PM, I am posting answer to your queries here, because, other people can also benefit .

Well Before, going to make your own flight control board, shall i know your skills,
I assume you have basic knowledge in electronics
Do you have experience with arduino or any other microprocessor platforms ?

Multiwii, is a very good open source flight controller Coded on Arduino platform. At first, it was intended to help people who want to make cheap Flight controllers from Arduino boards and motion sensors from Wii, nunchuck controllers. Later, many people developed the source code to include many advanced features and support for different h/w.

You can make a simple flight controller with self level feature (Like KK2), for 500 to 1000 Rs, using Arduino and a sensor break out board (MPU6050 or other supported sensors) On multiwii platform.
Later you can add advanced features too.

Making your own flight controller is quite challenging, especially if you are new to RC. It will be much quicker and more convenient to buy one.  But if you have experience with microcontrollers and electronics and you want a challenge, you could definitely succeed. There are several flight controllers you could make such as the Aeroquad and MultiWii. Check their websites.
Basically, you would need a base microcontroller- such as an Arduino/ clone. You would then need to add sensors such as a gyro/ accelerometer or integrated IMU module. You would also need to download firmware or develop your own (quite difficult)

Well, it's not that hard.

But I have another option for him - Can arrange parts like motors + ESC + KK2.1 + othe connectors and cables for around 5500 to 6000.
He can  get a LiPo + Radio + charger for the remaining money.

servo? did you mean ESC?

read here: http://www.multiwii.com/connecting-elements
this shows the pinout for arduino promini and the pin numbers are almost same for arduino nano too.

then need a Common ground, signal to their respective pins.5

VCC can leave Not connected state if you have another power source for arduino.

Hi cool16yash.

It is great that you decided on making the flight controller yourself.
I have a made three flight controllers now, twice using the arduino mega, and once using nano.
And each time, they have worked great!

So were you successful with yours?
Upload a picture, I'd love to see.

Now, as far as your problem is concerned, I can't really say anything unless I know what have you one.
Please explain your wiring and upload a few images of your setup if you can.

If you think it is correct, raise the motors to <10% throttle and CAREFULLY check that all the motors are blowing air downwards.

most probably motor pins are still incorrect or mpu 6050 is not in correct direction.

check this for pinout.

quad keeps on flipping to left?

as per your prop spinning direction(in the last video) flipping direction is front(or back).

that should be because of

lazy PID values or accelerometer
or
gyro orientation missmatch
or
vibration to the sensors (wire arrangements in your quad should amplify the vibrations they should be tied down or length shorten also try increasing/decreasing accelerometer filter in multiwii.)

default PIDs work near good, but that not zero(sometimes need to click "Read" button below that window to show values).

try

Yaw
