Title: Legal to fly a Quadcopter with / without FPV
Post by: muddy on February 09, 2016, 12:47:53 PM
Hi Guys,

Just wanted to know if it's legally allowed to fly a Quad-copter in India without or with FPV ?  ???

Just read some posts regarding DGCA banning the same.

I understand we should not fly at public places, anywhere near airports and other such places.. And take for people's privacy and safety.
But then what about people flying quad-copters in events and such places ?

Any suggestion for flying at Pune ? ( Apart from Baner )

Legally..you will get arrested if you fly a 'drone' for whatever reason if someone complains or catches you. Launching drone is strictly prohibited for civilians or companies

Dammit, was thinking about buying the JJRC x1 for just flying around from dx.com.
Banning them is just plain idiotic.
They should atleast allow them but with regulations...
