I see that most gimbals are made of aluminum and few carbon fiber.. I'm looking to make a light weight gimbal using scrap parts like acrylic for a light camera like Mobius but using standard size 2204 motors to keep cost low.
This is how I plan to start.. these are parts from an off the shelf gimbal of which I'll be using only the parts on the right side of the picture. Any suggestions for mounting this to quad? How to go about pid tuning?
