As a beginner to quads, did some research in Blore primarily on the quad sold by rcbazaar and rcdhamaka. I narrowed in on the rcdhamaka one (S500) primarily because of the motor make as I was not very sure of the Avionic motor. Now after assembly and flying, now think I should have gone for the rcbazaar quad (Hiller) for the following reasons:
1. Design of the rcbazzar quad (hiller) is far superior to the one from rcdhamaka (S500).
      a. The power distribution board on the Hiller quad is very well designed and is an integral one. The one on the S500 however is a seperate board which has to be left floating in the assembly.
      b. The wire routing on Hiller can be done ver neatly due to the design of the power board, this is a challenge on the S500 due to the inadequate design of the power board.
      c. The landing gear on the S500 is not very well suitable for beginners. Have broken two of the landing gears already. But on the Hiller, I realised that you can put a soft bal on the landing gears to make the impact easier for the motors and also since they are just below the motors, the tendancy for the quad to topple over is much less.
      d. Spare parts support - I lost a prop and CCW nut on one motor as it came loose in flight and my quad toppled over. Rcdhamaka did not have stock of props or nuts. Finally I bought a similar prop from rcbazaar, however the locking nut available at rcbazaar had a different pitch and could not fit on the S500 motor. Rcdhamak does not have a spare nut and now my quad is grounded for want of a CCW nut.
      e. Customer service - I enquired about a place to purchase the CCW nut to both Rcdhamak as well as Rcbazaar. Did not get any assistance from Rcdhamaka even though I bought the quad from them but the folks at Rcbazaar gave me the name of a shop at SP Road where I may get the nut.

Lessons learnt for me which may be of use to others who are in the process of selecting which quad to buy and from where.
